Catherine earned her B.A. at Pennsylvania State University then earned both her M.B.A. and Ph.D. at Gannon University. She taught business-related courses at Gannon as well as Mercyhurst for over a decade, prior to joining the EC3 team.
Growing up in Erie, Catherine has always enjoyed the uniqueness of the Great Lakes Region and Lake Erie. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, supporting local businesses, and studying local real estate markets.
Catherine hopes her students understand the far-reaching, positive impact of EC3 on Erie’s local economy – and how higher education changes student lives and their community in a meaningful way. She believes strongly in goal-setting as a way for students to achieve their dreams and that connecting with ones passion helps ignite the motivation needed to achieve goals.
