The Associate of Applied Business (AAB) in Management and Entrepreneurial Thinking program at EC3PA
The AAB in Management and Entrepreneurial Thinking Program at EC3PA in Erie, PA is designed to lay a solid foundation for today's business world. Students can use their AAB degree to pursue entry-level positions, or as a stepping stone to a bachelor's degree program at participating PA TRAC colleges and universities throughout the commonwealth.
Required general education courses (10 classes) and electives (2 classes)
Like all EC3PA students, you'll take FYE 101 (First Year Experience) and ENG 101 (English Composition) to orient you to life as a higher education student. From there, you'll have the chance to either double down on your writing skills in ENG 102 (English Composition) or polish your speaking and listening skills in ENG 110 (Oral Communications). Through the 7 remaining general education courses and 2 electives, you'll explore topics in each of the following categories:
- Social & behavioral sciences
- Artist expression
- Cultural awareness
- Mathematics
- Natural sciences
- Technology
- Ethics
Program major requirements (8 classes)
The core classes begin with BUS 103 (Principles of Management) and ENT 110 (Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship). From there, students can choose to focus more on business operations or on either learning the ins and outs of entrepreneurship.
