
At Erie County Community College (EC3), our Student Services team is dedicated to supporting your journey. From enrollment assistance and personalized academic advising to tutoring, accommodations, and career planning, EC3 ensures you have the resources needed to achieve your goals.
Qualified staff are eager to guide prospective students through the application and the career exploration process leading to appropriate degree or certificate program planning and enrollment. Our faculty members are pivotal in empowering students and fostering academic excellence. They bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and real-world experience to the classroom, making education at EC3 both enriching and practical.
Once students are in classes, our staff is available to help them navigate the barriers that impact their ability to continue their academic journey. Student Services staff offices are located at the EC3 Erie West location (2403 W. 8th Street), and staff are available to meet with students at one of the other locations or virtually by appointment. EC3 Accommodation Services
What we do? EC3 offers reasonable accommodations to students with documented disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Academic Accommodations:

- Other accommodations approved by EC3 Disability Staff.

How to set up accommodations:
- Contact advising@ec3pa.org to set up a meeting with a counselor.
- Provide documentation from a certified provider stating your diagnosis and recommended accommodations.
- EC3 disability staff will meet with students to discuss reasonable accommodation options.
- Once accommodations are approved, staff will educate students on how to use them.

EC3 Registrar Office
Registrar Contact Info: The registrar's office supports EC3 students, alumni, faculty, and staff by maintaining and processing records for the institution. Our goal is to ensure all records maintenance, storage, and processes adhere to policies and are handled within the established standards of our college.

Submitting a Transcript to EC3:
- If you are applying to EC3, you will need to submit your official transcripts from the high school and college(s) you've attended. We use your academic transcripts to determine placement as well as evaluate transfer credit from previous institutions. If you earned a GED or state high school equivalency diploma, you may send us this as well.
- Official sealed transcripts can be sent via email or mail to the addresses below.
- Please allow 10-14 business days to process these transcript requests.
EC3 Tutoring Services
Tutoring Mission: To provide individual, academic support to improve students ' performance and instill confidence in students ' academic skills.
Tutoring Services:
- One-on-one, course-specific tutoring
- Peer tutors have been recommended by staff and faculty
- Enrolled students may be tutored for 1 hour per week/per course
- Tutoring is offered to enrolled students free of charge
Writing tutors can help you with any stage of the writing process:
- Understanding the assignment' s instructions
- Brainstorming
- Developing a strong thesis
- Outlining your paper/assignment
- Proofreading rough drafts Citations

- If a tutor is not readily available, staff will try their best to find you a tutor in a timely fashion.
