Geoffrey A. Groce, a native of Morgantown, West Virginia, graduated from Ithaca College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He has a diverse career background, including work in the publishing industry, Bank of America, and Valley Mental Health, where he supported the national suicide hotline and facilitated mental health treatment. 

In 2010, Geoffrey earned a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University. Since then, he has served the Erie community as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. 

Geoffrey is actively involved in volunteer work, contributing to organizations such as The Caring Place, local churches, and the Erie-Crawford County Central Labor Council. Additionally, he is an ad-hoc board member of the Northwest Pennsylvania Beekeepers Association, where he enjoys beekeeping and participating in local community events. 

He has a passion for international travel, exploring over 30 Mayan ruins in Central America and significant historical sites in South America, Europe, and Pakistan. Geoffrey resides in downtown North East, Pennsylvania, and is a proud pet parent to two cats, Regina Muchacha and Tigger-tron 5000.
