Erie County Community College (EC3) is thrilled to welcome Jennifer Kline, M.Ed., as the new Associate Dean of Academics.
In her role, Kline will provide essential leadership in defining the strategic direction of EC3's academic programs, overseeing long-range planning, and developing applied workforce and transfer programs that align with the college's mission. Additionally, she will play a key role in building partnerships with businesses and industry to support program development and workforce initiatives that meet the needs of the Erie community.

"Her deep expertise in workforce development and education, combined with her passion for student success, will be critical as we continue to grow our academic programs and build connections with local industries. Kline brings over 26 years of experience in healthcare, workforce development, and higher education, including leadership positions such as Clinical Flight Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and Program Manager for healthcare programs at GateWay Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. Her expertise spans program creation, curriculum development, student learning assessment, and programmatic and institutional accreditation.
During her tenure at GateWay Community College, Kline led the creation of Maricopa County Community College District's first healthcare apprenticeship programs and received multiple awards for her innovative contributions. At EC3, she will be responsible for leading workforce and transfer initiatives, ensuring that students have access to cutting-edge educational pathways that meet both industry standards and student needs.
In her role, Kline will also collaborate with faculty and community partners to ensure that all academic programming supports the diverse educational needs of EC3's student body. This will include the development of partnerships with local businesses and industries to ensure programs remain aligned with evolving workforce demands.
