Graduation at EC3

Graduation is the celebration of hard work, determination, and perseverance culminating in academic achievement. It is a milestone recognizing the completion of one goal and the beginning of another exciting opportunity that lies ahead. Congratulations! 

 

Things to Know:

  • The EC3 2026 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Prep Hagerty Family Events Center at 501 West 12th Street in Erie. 
  • Make sure that your address is correct on Workday -- All diplomas and transcripts are mailed there. 
  • Check your EC3 email daily -- Important updates will be provided via email (ex. when gowns should be picked up). 
  • Plan to attend the Commencement walk-through: On Friday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m., we will host a walk-through for all graduates who intend to participate in the Ceremony. Please arrive at our ERIE WEST CAMPUS (2403 West 8th Street) at 10:45 a.m. A boxed lunch will be provided. 
  • Please familiarize yourself with the Hagerty Family Events Center (501 West 12th Street). Plan to be at the venue by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30th, for photos and lining up. 
  • Parking: Graduate and guest parking will be in the lot off of Walnut Street. Handicap parking will be in the lot off of Cherry Street. Overflow parking will be in the lot off of Poplar Street, where guests can cross the bridge over Cherry Street and enter the complex on the West side of the building.

Graduation, Degree Conferral, and the Release of the Official Transcript

The College expects students to resolve all financial obligations as a part of meeting their graduation requirements. The College may allow participation in commencement ceremonies at its discretion; however, official degree conferral and/or official transcript release will only occur when any financial obligation has been paid in full.

Once financial obligations are resolved and degrees are conferred and certified, your diploma and an official transcript will be mailed to the address on file in the Registration Office. Please make sure that your current address is correct in Workday.
