Angela is the wife of Drew McNair and mother of five children. She is the owner of Jumpstart and Grand Central Events.
She served as an elected official on the Erie's Public School Board for eight years. In this position she advocated for students and families and students with disabilities. Several initiatives were made during her service including the diversity committee and community schools. She also served on the first cohort of Governor Shapiro's Advisory Commission on African American Affairs for two terms, the Autisms Society Board and the City of Erie Zoning Board.
She graduated with her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh main campus.
Currently Angela serves as the coordinator for Erie's Juneteenth Celebration. She also serves on the Erie County Human Relations Advisory Board.
She continues to be a strong voice in serving her community and advocating for others.
