Robert Merrill earned his undergraduate degree at Penn State University and completed his MBA degree at Gannon University in Human Resources Management. He has over 22 years of Human Resources experience, working at both PNC Bank and First National Bank.
During his career, Bob worked in the areas of orientation programs, HR training, tuition and scholarship programs, policy administration, employee handbook development, and HR internal audit and compliance.
Bob was active in community relations throughout his career. He served on the Board of Directors for Family Services of Northwest PA, the Financial Services Advisory Board for Southwest PA Workforce Development, was a volunteer for the United Way of Mercer County. Bob served as the United Way Chairman for Employee Giving while at FNB Corporation.
After retirement, Bob worked as an HR Consultant for both Premier HR Services in Hermitage, PA and J.L. Nick and Associates HR Consulting in Erie, PA.
