Position Summary / Job Goal
The Clinical Coordinator (Student Worker) provides administrative and coordination support for clinical education activities within the Allied Health and Nursing Programs. This position assists with clinical scheduling, student compliance tracking, communication with clinical partners, and data management related to clinical placements. The role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
This is a part-time student employment position averaging 5–10 hours per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties listed below are representative but not exhaustive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on program needs.
- Assists with maintaining and updating clinical rotation schedules for nursing and allied health programs.
- Supports communication between program leadership, faculty, and clinical partners regarding scheduling and placement needs.
- Assists with data entry and record maintenance related to student clinical placements.
- Monitors and tracks student compliance requirements, including clearances, documentation, and required forms; submits weekly reports to Director and Dean.
- Uses Microsoft Word and Excel, and Complio to create, update, and organize reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
- Learn and assists with clinical placement platforms such as Rotation Station and MyClinical Exchange.
- Supports preparation of materials for student orientations, faculty orientations, and clinical onboarding.
- Assists with organizing and maintaining clinical site policies, procedures, and contact information.
- Handles confidential student and clinical information in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
- Communicates professionally with faculty, staff, students, and external partners as directed.
- Demonstrates initiative, reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or high school transcript required
- Must be a currently enrolled student at the college
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn new software platforms and systems
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently with guidance
- Ability to follow established procedures and deadlines

Work Schedule
- Part-time, 5–10 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling coordinated with supervisor and academic schedule

- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer
- Occasional lifting of light materials (up to 10–20 pounds)
