On August 13th, Erie County Community College (EC3) will be participating in Erie Gives which is hosted by the Erie Community Foundation.
EC3 has a goal of raising $10,000 with 68 donors. The money raised will be used to directly support students and scholarships.
"We are thrilled to be participating in this year's Erie Gives and providing supporters of the college an opportunity to give back," says Dr. Chris Gray, President of EC3. "The generosity of our donors makes such an impact and Erie Gives allows them to collectively contribute to the success of our students."
This year donors have 24 hours, midnight to midnight, to make their contribution. The contribution can be given online, by check, through a stock gift, or by utilizing the Required Minimum Distribution from an IRA. Along with Bonus Bucks (pooled corporate sponsorship dollars) Country Fair Charity Pumps will be contributing to all participating nonprofits on this day of giving.
