Founding President of Erie County Community College (EC3), Chris Gray, Ph.D., was named of City and State Pennsylvania's 2024 Trailblazers in Higher Education.
He is recognized for "building a solid infrastructure and partnerships across the region to develop programs leading to family-sustaining careers for its 600 students and counting." "This recognition helps draw attention to the great work our faculty and staff are doing and to the students whose lives are changing at EC3," says Dr. Gray. "We will continue to serve Erie County by providing an affordable and accessible education."
City & State's 2024 Higher Education Trailblazers are "confronted with a changing economic, social and technological landscape, these leaders have responded with innovative programming, outreach both tangible and virtual and, in some cases, restructuring to accommodate the ambitions of a new generation."
