Erie County Community College (EC3) appointed Michael T. Victor, J.D., L.L.D., to chair its board of trustees.
Dr. Michael T. Victor joined the board in May of 2023 and currently serves as the liaison to EC3's Foundation. "I am honored to serve as Chairperson for EC3's board of trustees," says Victor. "The college has made tremendous strides in such a short time and I look forward to bringing my experience in academia, corporate relations and fundraising to support the mission of the college. My motto is to change one student at a time." Victor's background includes serving as the president at Lake Erie College of Painesville, Ohio and Mercyhurst University for 15 years. He also currently serves as a board member of the UPMC Hamot Board of Directors, the Duquesne School of Law Advisory Board, and the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership. "We are thrilled to have Michael T. Victor serve as chair of our trustees," says Dr. Chris Gray, President of EC3. "His wealth of experience in the field of education will continue to provide the guidance needed to help continue to move the college forward."
Serving as vice chairperson will be Chery Rush-Dix and EJay Fyke- Secretary.
